2/21/2008 On Thursday, 21 February 2008 Aero Care closed for the supply and adopted the Learjet 55ER. The plane is the serial number 92 and the tail number N40DK. The Lear 55ER is in the middle of a large jet-s \ "stand-up \" cab. The aircraft has a 2200-mile range and is certified to fly up to 51000 feet. This special LR55ER is equipped with its own toilet, satellite phone, DVD player, LCD screen in the cabin, a heating furnace allow warm meal.
In addition the aircraft is equipped for worldwide missions. The avionics include TCAS II with change 7 collision avoidance, dual UNS-1 flight management systems, dual HF radios, FM immunity, 8.33 Mhz frequency spacing, and a 4-tube EFIS system."This aircraft gives AeroCare true worldwide capability" explains AeroCare CEO Joseph Cece, "and allows us to provide a much more comfortable flight to our patients and crews for the same price as our competitors flying much smaller Lear 35's and Lear 36's".
The aircraft will be manned by 3 Learjet very experienced captains and 3 on the co-pilot. The plane is expected that they Revenue Service and April 1, 2008. The aircraft are provided by the FAA 135 certificate holder R & M Aviation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aero Care Medical Transport System, Inc.
