A LOCAL village has given the air ambulance its just desserts after hosting a ‘Pudding Party’ in aid of their favourite charity.
The evening event was held on Friday 1st August at Woolhope Parish Hall, Woodhope near Hereford. On offer were over fifty varieties of dessert made by locals and later consumed for charity. The evening also included a raffle, bring and buy and children’s face painting.
Organisers Ruth Whitting and Elaine Pudge from Woolhope where delighted by the turn out. Ruth said:
“We were very pleased and thankful to all those who contributed to the event. Everyone enjoyed the evening and we managed to raise over £932 for our chosen Charity, County Air Ambulance”

”It was great to meet such lovely people at this fantastic Pudding Party in aid of the Helicopter charity. It was an excellent response from villagers who obviously really enjoy their desserts.”
